Celta boosted the game in the second half, thanks to a goal from Rafinha in the 56th minute. However, Athletic 76 minutes in the game gave an equalizer thanks to a goal from Raul Garcia, which saw the second half to a 1-1.
For Athletic Asier Villalibre and Inigo Lekue came on for Ibai Gomez and Inaki Williams, while Celta brought on Pape Diop, Denis Suarez and Joseph Aidoo to replace Santi Mina, Rafinha and Brais Mendez.
The referee booked Ander Capa, Unai Lopez, Yuri Berchiche and Inigo Martinez from Athletic, while for Celta Nestor Araujo, Ruben Blanco and Kevin Vazquez saw a yellow card as well.
